WOMEN'S SELF-EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS
- Our organization has started the Women Self Employment Training Program in Uttar Pradesh state to make Women self-reliant and provide them self-employment opportunities. Uttar Pradesh is a state with a population of 25 crores, half of which is women. Women play an important role in the economic, social and cultural development of every society. The society in which women are educated and economically strong is also developed and strong. The present Central Government and Uttar Pradesh Government are running many types of schemes for women's self-employment such as Single Women Self Employment Scheme, Vishwakarma Scheme, Lakhpati Didi Scheme, Chief Minister Gramodyog Employment Scheme etc. Our aim is to establish women self-employment training centers in every development block of Uttar Pradesh districts with public cooperation, and to provide training to rural women in self-employment related enterprises such as (agriculture based enterprises, mushroom farming, animal husbandry, organic food production, food processing, pickle jam production, sewing-cutting, incense stick-candle production, earthen pots, online shopping, rural banking service and digital rural market etc.) and to help them in setting up industries. Our aim is to create a group of such women who establish rural industries and provide employment opportunities to local residents so that the youth do not migrate to other states in search of employment. We will provide assistance to women groups for setting up self-employment in rural areas from the Chief Minister Gramodyog Yojana, Vishwakarma Yojana, Khadi Gramodyog and other government and non-government organizations and banks organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh so that maximum employment opportunities can be made available in rural areas. To achieve the above goals, we expect cooperation from individual and collective women entrepreneurs, organizations, institutions from each district so that maximum training centers and rural enterprises can be established.
- To make rural women self-reliant and connect them with small enterprises, we are setting up Mahila Swarojgar Training Centre in every development Block. Here our Mahila Sakhis are to train women in various means of self-employment and connect them with employment.
